Annual Fall Fundraiser
Schaefer Families, our parent group, holds a one-time-a-year fundraiser that provides the money used to support all the events throughout the school year. Without the money from this fundraiser we would not be able to hold most of our fun events--the costume ball, the sock hop, movies nights. The funds also are used to make many improvements to Schaefer's campus that are not covered by District funding, such as the recently completed benches in the Quad and near rooms 20-23.
This year our fundraiser runs from August 22 through September 12th. Your support of the fundraiser is greatly appreciated.
POEF Events
The Piner Olivet Education Foundation (POEF) helps raise funds which are shared among our four elementary schools. There are three events during each school year in which you can participate and volunteer.
- Casino Night: This annual fundraiser is an adults only event.
- Spring Carnival: Open to all district students and their families and friends.
The funds raised at these events are presently being directed toward upgrading the technology at the schools. In the past, these funds have supported the library, physical education and music programs.
- Superwalk: Takes place during the school day to raise funds for field trips.
